Silverfall - 3 Track Sampler
I’m in a really good mood today because it’s a Friday, i’m always a bit giddy on a Friday at work and i’m now half way through my day…here comes the weekend it’s time to get upbeat!
Or alternatively you could choose to spend part of your dinner hour sat at your desk listening to Silverfall, a dreary folk influenced band from Mexborough in South Yorkshire. Don’t get me wrong the arrangements are nice enough, doing more to hint at emotion in one note than the singer Jenny Bailey does throughout any of the three songs on here.
Don’t Cry Michael, Hey Now and Last Statement are tracks that have seen them likened to The Cranberries amongst others, as much as I didn’t like them at least the vocals were annoying, these just leave you feeling like you’ve done the aural equivelant of watching paint dry.
