Asaviour / DJ IQ - Play2Win Vol 2
Despite being born and raised in Huddersfield (It’s a football thing!) I actually really like Asavoiur, he’s very easy on the ear with a superb feel for getting the flow right throughout any song he touches and is one of the most underrated UK hip-hop guys around at the moment.
Play2Win Volume 2 is as the title suggests the second installment and comes perfectly mixed by DJ IQ (another guy i’ve got a lot of time for). Featuring other underground hip-hop artists aside from Asaviour (although he’s generally involved in the tracks one way or another) and with the ability to call on friends like Jhest, this is the absolute bomb to listen to.
It’s pretty much soundtracked my journey home from work and my lunch breaks as well over the last week and i’m still not growing tired of it.
The album is released on 11th February through Saving Grace Music.
