Various Artists - A-Z Bestival Compiled By Rob Da Bank
The Bestival A-Z album is rapidly becoming as much to look forward to as the festival itself, nothing to do with the festival going down hill in any way, as it’s still the best festival the UK has to offer, it’s more to do with the quality of previous albums from Annie Mac and The Cuban Brothers.
2008 has that extra something going for it, as Rob Da Bank himself has comiled this years compilation, again it features 26 tracks spread across two discs and running in alphabetical order from Aphex Twin through to Zombie, Zombie.
As you would expect with anything connected to Bestival it gives us surprises, introductions to new tracks and artists, crosses genres, doesn’t have a duff artist among them and is generally very cool. Lovely stuff.
