The Answering Machine - Another City, Another Sorry
Another City, Another Sorry is the sparkling debut album from The Answering Machine, it comes fresh from their high profile support slots with Manic Street Preachers and Twisted Wheel and should hopefully be well received as it’s a cracking little album.
Featuring soaring, anthemic tracks like Obviously Cold, Cliffer, Emergency and Lightbulbs it’s a powerful and confident musically and the lyrics are laced with a World weary Northern charm that if their was any justice would see the band celebrating a string of hit singles.
I’ve got a feeling their time will come though, so for now they can be our little secret.
