Kathleen Edwards - Asking For Flowers

Kathleen Edwards has moved confidently onto her third album with the release of Asking For Flowers, a collection of brilliantly introspective folk/alt country songs that have a real classic feel about them.

The stand out track is recentsingle The Cheapest Key, a song that as a single seemed ‘ok’ but really shines as part of the album, coming into it’s own alongside mesmerising efforts like I Make The Dough, You Get The Glory, Run and Scared At Night.

It’s an album I haven’t tired of listening to recently and has given me a real taste for heading out andtracking down her first two releases.
