Attack! Attack! - Attack! Attack!
Why do say many rock bands sound exactly the same at the moment? it’s just emo naffness after emo naffness and for me this is the one area of music that is really struggling to find a new direction.
The latest incarnation of Fall Out Boy comes from Welsh band Attack! Attack! And their self titled album. How refreshing it would have been to find they had taken some of their Welsh heritage and converted that into their music, instead we are stuck with a group that instead is looking towards the college campuses of America for inspiration.
It’s uninspiring stuff and has been done thousands of times before, far better than this.
