Hed Kandi - Beach House 2007
After something of a lean spell during 2006 when the Hed Kandi brand seemed to be somewhat stagnant musically, they have really upped the anti in 2007.
Following on from the Serve Chilled compilation comes the summers best dance compilation. Beach House makes a welcome return with the best one in the series yet, every single track on here oozes class and gives you that instant feeling of being sat by the pool, drinking a cocktail, the sun on your back and beautiful girls diving in and out of the water.
On disc one you get Miguel Migs with the brilliant So Far, if ever a DJ epitomised this collection it would be him, thats followed by the Fred Falke Remix of Hot Chip’s Colours and it really doesn’t let up after that. Disc two again starts with Migs but the best track is for me is the hypnotic groove of Turning (Andy Caldwell Remix) by Cloud.
The album is out now on Cd and through Digital sources.
