Rammstein - Benzin

The last review I gave Rammstein was not too favourable; I felt that their previous album “Reise Reise was an ‘in betweeny’. Taken from the forthcoming album “Rosenrot, “Benzin is a return to the old Rammstein we know and love – I just hope this is not the exceptional track that they use to try flogging the album. The track consists of vocalist Till Lindemann’s characteristic menacing vocals (thankfully all in German) with some nice heavy riffs on the guitars. There’s also some excellent subtle keyboard work in the background – just enough to add a bit of a chill to proceedings. There’s four different versions on the single I’ve got, some are better than others, but all in all, this is a good solid metal booted arse kicker.

RAMMSTEIN? LOOKING FORWARD TO THE ALBUM…
