Living Things - Bom Bom Bom
Now as you know Rock is not really my thing and Living Things if nothing else would like to be known as a ‘rock act’.
I’ve had a listen to the album (review to follow) and this single doesn’t really give you a fair indication of what to expect on Ahead Of The Lions. Bom Bom Bom is a scuzzy, dancfloor-boogie rocker that is far more infectious and upbeat than most things you’ll hear released in the last couple of weeks.
So thumbs up for the original and a definite thumbs up for the Boys Noize Remixes that are doing the rounds to accompany this release, they take the scuzyness of the track, dirty it up some more and hone it even closer to a techno-grooving floorfiller than the mainstream rock original could have ever hoped for.
The single and album are both out now.
