Jet - Bring It On Back-jet
Following up the success of Get Born was never going to be easy for Jet, a band that at the time had big tunes and big ideas to match. The second album may seem a little understated compared to it’s rival first long player but dig a little deeper and you’ll find that they’ve taken a ‘back to basics’ approach to producing rock music.
As such the first single from this album may not have had the instant appeal that a lot of fans were looking for, it was the a tune with a big heart. The same could be said of Bring It On Back which was released this week. Again it’s set to ‘let’s rock’ factor, but pleasingly has a more insistant tune to it.
The single is out now on 2×7” single and CD and is taken from Shine On.
