Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
I’m known as a fairly disagreable person, somebody who will pick up on a point and then argue until i’m blue in the face or the other party has died of frustration. From time to time i’m even known to argue with myself…
This song is a case in point. On the album I described the twinkling ballad of Chasing Cars as one of the two worst tracks on the album, a song that just didn’t work for me. Listening to the album the song really didn’t stand out at all to me, even after repeated listens.
It’s been released as a single though this week and i’m not sure why but hearing it on the radio has given me a whole different view on it. To the point that I actually quite like the song now.
