So you thought the Arctic Monkeys were going to have it all their own way in South Yorkshire music circles did you?

Well think again because their is a new old kid in town. Yes you did read that right, Milburn may be bursting onto the scene a few months after everybody’s favourite fresh faced indie four piece but don’t let that fool you, these boys were around before them.

So instantly dismiss the inevitable accusations that will fly their way for sounding not disimilar to the Arctic Monkeys, they are from the same area and they also play guitar music, get over it. Just celebrate the fact that we’ve got another good band to be proud of in Yorkshire. Cheshire Cat Smile is likely to be heading into the top twenty within the next hour so it looks like i’m not the only one bowled over by them.

I’ve heard six tracks now from the album as well and I can say in all honesty that it should be an absolute pearler. Unfortunately it isn’t out until the 25th September so I guess you’ll have to wait till then.
