Stone Halo - City Of Angels EP
Stone Halo have forged a band together from a real array of musical backgrounds, with the intention being that the different ingredients come together to make the perfect musical pie.
They attempt and seem to be aiming for a fusion of rock and funk in a similar style to Red Hot Chili Peppers. They don’t pull that off for me across any of the six tracks on this City Of Angels EP, it seems to have watered down the elements so the funk isn’t funky enough and the rock doesn’t rock you.
The EP is out now.
