Simian Mobile Disco - Clock EP

Attack Decay Sustain Release was one of the best dance albums of last year and having seen Jas Shaw and James Ford live supporting the Klaxons, I can tell you that they are an act that are definitely worth seeing if you like to party.

They start 2008 off with the release of the brand new Clock EP that takes things back to basics for them, moving away from the vocal tracks that have crossed them over into indie circles, favouring the pure dance clubs this time as their target audience.

All four tracks on here are nicely done and would certainly get you twitching if you were in the club and the DJ dropped one of them, it’s good to see them taking a chance and stripping things back a little, but the tracks do lack the sass of their last album. A nice stop gap though for fans.
