Thea Gilmore - Come Up With Me
Thea Gilmore has been one of the most consistent female singer-songwriters of the last ten years for me, I would recommend anyone checking out her albums, she’s got a lovely voice and really does write cracking lyrics that you can really tap into.
The problem for me is that all too often her songs don’t work as singles, I know they are just a vehicle for promoting the album these days, but even so I can’t help but wish she didn’t release them.
Come Up With Me is a perfect album track and fits in beautifully on Liejacker, just not in this context.
