Blackflower - Crying Shame
Blackflower’s Crying Shame is bright and bouncy, a happy pop song, lyrics may not be too happy but the overall sound is. It bounces along perhaps not going too far, but an ok indie track. If indie music has a sound (for me it covers just about anything and everything at the moment) this is it.
It has a nice beat, not too loud, lyrics you can easily make out. No great story to them but they repeat over a few times and it gets into you head. The guitar work in between is not too bad either, could have some local success, unlikely to break into the national charts but overall an ok track if you like inoffensive easy going indie rock.
Crying Shame is released as part of a spit single with Minotaurs.
