Sons And Daughters - Dance Me In / La Lune (Remixes)
From what I can gather the two remixes on this promo 12” are going to be available some time in the New Year, it would certainly be a waste if they weren’t made more widely available.
First up is Sons And Daughters summer single Dance Me In, it was a catchy as hell track in it’s right but has been taken up a notch with this JD Twitch & The Truffle Club’s Optimo Mix (yep catchy title I know). The mix comes courtesy of JD Twitch and JG Wilkes who are fellow Glaswegians, run the Optimo club night as well as being friends of the band. It’s maintain the raw edge to the track but is tightened up into a more traditional 4/4 beat and is one of the best mixes i’ve heard this year.
Slightly more low key is the mix of Love The Cup’s under the title La Lune, I say slightly as even this is given a disco workout and comes complete with some awesome drops that again in the right club night could go down a storm.
