The Tempus - Demo
Bradford based band The Tempus comprising of Jonny Miller on guitar/vocals, Matt Hall on Bass and Dave Jones on Drums.
The band were the regional winners of the resent BT Battle of the Bands, they did quite well in the final coming joint second. The performance got them a support slot this month in London with Starsailor, James Walsh (lead vocals with Starsailor) was one of the judges. Lets hope this opens doors for them.
They have a very mature sound for such a young band, my own feeling is that there sound is just what is missing in the market at the moment, moving away from the heavy guitar influences of the likes The Arctic Monkeys but not going to pop (bands like The Feeling). This is the sound, which will go down well in both the smaller venues and the larger stadiums, good old-fashioned anthemic rock.
