The Beat Surrender

When I got passed this to review my first thought was I’ve never heard of them, but the song name rings a bell. And from listesning to this I realised its been constantly played on Kerrang and Scuzz these past 2 weeks.

It goes without saying really that it is one of them songs that sticks in your head (This has been stuck in my head for over a week-just the chrous!) Whilst I do think it is a great song and the band do have potential, they can play well and the lead vocalist has a fantastic voice, the small problem is the song is a little too repetetive. The chorus in particular. Maybe its just me who prefers more variation when it comes to songs but I do believe this will be well received here in the UK mainstream wise.

I think they need to be more experimental with this song and their music in general. I’m more than sure that they have alot more to offer than this single, much more variation in their songs as I previously said; they do have the potential, I have no doubt that they’ll succeed in catching the publics attention. They did catch mine but after listening to it atleast twice it lost my attention.

Devour is set to be released on November 17th I’d keep an eye on these I have a feeling they have much more to offer…
