Innerpartysystem - Die Tonight Live Forever
From first hearing ‘Die Tonight Live Forever’ it sounded like some form of a David Guetta remix! As it progresses it still sounds like a David Guetta remix! The vocals are very robotic, which some electro/techno/rock bands can get away with. Bands like The Prodigy and Pendulum vary out their robotic sounds with real vocals but on this track they are robots throughout!
On a better note-the beats flow well in this and you can imagine it being a rave classic! Unfortunately not for me though as I’m fussy and do prefere more variety rather than just good beats. Instrumentally drums/synthesizer sounds professional and create an overall good sound.
Most of the song is rather repetitive, or maybe its just the robotic sound making it seem like it is all on the same level. Not many creative sounds are apparant on this track either-techno/rock bands usually experiment with different and unusual sounds as they are key to giving it that effect but unfortunately these don’t
.
If you are a fan of electro beats and I’d say even remixes you’d hear on Galaxy-give em a listen! They’re set to release the single on 22nd Septermber via Island/Fallout Records.
