The Vortex - Dirty Soul

The Vortex are an unashamedly Manchester band, they haven’t reinvented the wheel here, but they might just give Oasis a reminder of what a bit of passion and youthful energy can do to make up for re-treading a well worn musical path.

Dirty Soul combines Columbia period Oasis music with a Bobby Gillespie style vocal and then takes that a stage further on the b-side as the vocal goes down even further down the mix on a pounding track called Revolution Sometime.

Bonehead is a fan and they are starting to get mentioned in a lot of circles, so don’t be surprised if these end up being the next big thing out Manchester behind Twisted Wheel.
