Franz Ferdinand - Do You Want To
The band of 2004 return, intent on leaving a similar mark on 2005 with the forthcoming album You Could Have It So Much Better, this track Do You Want To is the first indicator of what we can expect from them.
In truth it’s not a massive leap of faith from the debut, following up a very successful album is not easy, just ask Elastica or the Stone Roses, the early signs are looking ok though as they trot out Take Me Out’s slightly younger and less socially accomplished brother. So expect more of the same from Franz Ferdinand, angular, art-punk pop with a slight dancefloor edge to it.
