The Music - Drugs
When The Music returned with their third album Strength In Numbers earlier this year it was this track that really grabbed me when I saw them live.
Drugs starts off like Atomic by Blondie and then quickly descends into a booming ode to the problems encountered first hand by the band in recent years. It was never going to be a chart hit, but if you hear a better song live this year I’ll be amazed.
The single is out now through Polydor.
