Young Knives - Dyed In The Wool

I’m definitely something of a convert to the Young Knives sound having seen them a couple of times live in the last twelve months, I now understand where they are coming from a lot more than the early days.

They have of course always had a knack of releasing brilliantly eccentric pop songs, that just at the moment you are about to question them and ask where the song is going, they come out with a moment of magic that makes everything fall into place.

Dyed In The Wool is a perfect example of that, it’s a run of the mill indie guitar song and then all of a sudden the harmony and chorus kick in and it turns itself into a sublime track.
