Will Tang - Everything Changes
Will Tang is a bluesman from Rochdale, who thankfully has no links as far as I know to Lisa Stansfield (I thought everyone in Rochdale knew her!), but does have a fantastic reputation as a harmonica player, something i’d love to be able to say myself.
I though aren’t a talented harmonica player despite some feeble attempts, strangely on Everything Changes it’s not the harmonica that stands out for me it’s actually the vocals that are surprisingly rich. While Will Tang certainly isn’t up their for me with Robert Johnson or Seasick Steve, their is a real likeable quality to much of the album, particularly on tracks like Something Special, Love Bites, Red City Blues and The Other Side.
Blues fans won’t be disappointed, Lisa Stansfield fans can make of it what they will.
