Everything On Red - Everything On Red EP
Neveroddoreven is the first track that comes crashing into your sound-space with a frantic rhythm that Rage Against The Machine would be proud of, propelled along with a lovely organ/keyboard sound that reminds me of The Doors, a prevailing sound throughout this tight self-titled EP.
Absinthe Makes The Heart Grow Fonder is a little weaker as it goes for a more mellow pace, but that’s quickly rectified by the emo riffing Take The Plunge, not my favourite type of track but they do it with some style here. The EP is finished off by This Is How It Will End, a track that builds slowly from a fantastic opening into a jaunty track that gets under your skin.
Not the finished article by any means but promising none the less, the EP is out now through Cash For Pigs.
