Voodoo Six - Feed My Soul
As I was listening to this new track, I was thinking to myself that it sounded like a ‘Velvet Revolver’ number. I mean it’s along the same style, old, hard rock. Then on reading up about about ‘Voodoo Six’ I found out that they have been given some royalties for one of Velvet’s tracks on their first album. This can only be a good thing in my eyes.
‘Feed My Soul’ has a really fresh, old rock sound. It should definitely be on some air guitar album somewhere. It is few and far between, when I review a song that I can listen to over and over again with out getting bored. This song has accomplished the nearly impossible. ‘Feed My Soul’ has been recommend to my rocker friends.
The single is released 29th September through White Knuckle Records as a digital single only. The digital only part has really disappointed me, as there is nothing better than buying a single and seeing the great art work for old rock stuff. The music does speak for itself on this one though.
