Zero 7 - Futures
Sam Hardaker and Henry Binns have opted to slide quietly back into the music scene with the release of a limited edition single that will only be available on 7”, 12” and through download.
The single proceeds the much anticipated third album The Garden, which is due for release in May ahead of their UK tour. It’s strange that they have gone for such a low key release when you consider it features Jose Gonzalez on vocals, a man who is pretty big at the moment on the back of his own album.
In true Zero 7 style though Futures is a languid beauty that gently sweeps along with a soundtrack style, with Gonzalez’s soft honey coated vocals oozing over the top of it. Lovely stuff and has certainly wet my appetite for seeing them live again.
