Guster - Ganging Up On The Sun

Guster are pretty well known across the pond in both the United States and Canada, with a loyal devoted following built up over the previous four albums they’ve released.

The latest album Ganging Up On The Sun is finally given a release in the Uk where they remain relatively unknown still. It could be getting released at just the right time, the album is in the main built around jangly guitars with big choruses and remind me in style of early Fountains Of Wayne if you can remember them.

The odd track does mellow in pace where they get more reflective (Empire Song), on the whole though this is an upbeat summer album which you could sing along to on tracks like C’Mon and the recent single One Man Wrecking Machine.
