Saving Jane - Girl Next Door (Remixed)
Saving Jane have started to cause a bit of a commotion over in the States with this single rocketing up the Billboard top 100.
Difficult to see why though as even as a straight up rock track on the bands album of the same name, its a painfully bland song that sounds dated and stuck in the eighties that have clearly inspired it.
So how could you make this worse? Well it would have been difficult I thought, but they’ve pulled it off. Yep they’ve gone down the remix route, putting a cheesy Euro beat in to proceedings in the hope that it will further its cross over appeal. Instead it’s left it with no appeal.
The single is out now in the UK.
