Clearlake - Good Clean Fun

Clearlake released a cracking little album called Lido four years ago, it looked at the time as if they might have a bright future ahead of them. However the second album Cedars seemed to kind of sneak out rather than make the desired impact on the music scene at the time that would have seen them gain the popularity that their talent deserves.

Well good news because the Brighton four piece are back with a brand new single. Good Clean Fun is easily the best thing they’ve done IMHO. Sonic guitars and vocals that remind me (in style only) of the Dandy Warhols Everday Should Be A Holiday, they’ve got that same sort of lazy melody about them, it’s a fantastic return from the band.

The single is released on the 5th December and the third album Amber will follow on the 16th January. The band also play two live dates in December, calling in at Brighton Concorde on the 4th December then on the 7th December they head to the London Borderline.
