Robert Post - Got None
The singer songwriter gets more congested by the day, so the prospect of another one to add to that list didn’t exactly inspire me. Still he is Scandinavian so maybe all hope isn’t lost, Magnet and Sondre Lerche have laid the foundations recently for the invasion and you can now add Robert Post to the list.
Got None is a joyous, rousing song that bursts with life and vitality from start to finish, rising, sweeping and hooking you in throughout. Vocally I have to say his phrasing reminded me of Ray Davies from The Kinks, which in my eyes is a pretty big compliment as i’m a long standing Kinks fan.
The single was out last month and the self titled album is also out now.
