Stephen Dale Petit - Guitarama

Stephen Dale Petit honed his craft busking at tube stations in London as part of the official scheme to allow licensed buskers to work on the underground, a scheme I wholeheartidly agree with.

It seems that from those humble beginnings he picked up media exposure and eventually pressed up a limited run of albums. Having sold those out he now re-releases the album with three extra tracks.

Despite the nice back story and his obvious talent with a guitar (Gary Moore watch you’re back), the album itself is a little dull and goes on way too long. There are only so many times you can here instrumental blues riffs before it wears thin, unfortunately when he does try and add vocals into the mix they aren’t up to the task quality wise.

The album is out now through 333 Records.
