Joshua Path - Headlight In The Sun
American Joshua Path releases his fourth album, his music has been featured in TV shows such as One Tree Hill and Rescue Me, so I had an idea of what to expect.
This is a very polished and professional album, well performed, written and produced. The music is easy on the ear rock, with little to complain about. However, at the other end of the spectrum there’s little to rave about either.
The opener and title track Headlight In The Sun is probably the strongest on the album along with Angels Don’t Come Here Anymore, can imagine both either as backing track on a TV show or getting radio airplay. Perhaps not cutting edge enough for Radio 1 but definitely Radio 2. Nice to listen to as background music but not much more.
