The Electric Cinema - Heat Exchange
Not sure why but as soon as I saw the sleeve for this single I knew I was going to like it, not sure how but you can tell just as much from the cover with CDs as you can with books, or maybe i’m just a little bit strange?
Either way this is a cracking little single that will no doubt get shamelessly overlooked by radio and tv, it’s odd in its own little way, yet charming with it. Think of bands like Flaming Lips, Sparklehorse, Magnet and Mercury Rev and you won’t be far away.
Heat Exchange is sunshine guitar pop with a chorus that hot it could melt icebergs. I’m expecting good things of The Electric Cinema from listening to this track and the acoustic b-side It’s Fire We Crave The Most.
The single is released on the 7th August through Sugarlow Records.
