The Elements - Holding out / Deep Freeze
Earlier this year the band released Caught in a Storm which entered the Radio One’s Indie Chart at number 9. Now the four piece band from Birmingham have released a double A side, Holding Out/Deep Freeze prior to the album launch in late October.
Holding Out is a great indie track with a really catchy chorus and a great rhythm. Deep Freeze has more of a rock feeling to it but again contains some enjoyable vocals.
Fans of Ocean Colour Scene should be excited by this album as Andy Bennett and Tim Jaques have both been involved with the mighty OCS over the last few years. It is no wonder Holding Out has that classic made to last Indie sound to it!
The boys do a great job of blending their vocals together on these two tracks and I am definitely looking forward to hearing the complete album after its release on October 20.
