Justin Nozuka - Holly
Seems there is quite a fuss being made of young (18 years old) Justin Nozuka at the moment. Currently residing in Toronto he was born in New York to a combination of Canadian and Japanese parentage.
Nope not sure what that has to do with anything either, other you would have maybe thought that someone with such a rich cultural mix behind him would have been able to come up with an album that is a little less run of the mill.
Myspace and the growth of the internet in general has been a great barrier broken down to the flood of singer songwriters that were waiting out there, unfortunately very few of them rise above the ordinary. The only track that does for me here is Criminal, but as thats track seven I would guess that most people would have given up by then.
Should appeal to fans of Jack Johnson and the like. The album Holly is out on the 19th March.
