2600 Recordings - Home Entertainment

Come on be honest, unless you are really 100% in the know you wouldn’t normally associate the words “Norwich, hip-hop and hotbed of talent” in the same sentance would you?

Well thanks to the work of Norwich based label 2600 Recordings those words may become more commonly used together as the label continues to forge ahead in releasing some of the best underground instrumental hip-hop in the UK (yes including stuff outside of Norwich).

To showcase some of this to a wider audience they’ve pieced together this brilliant 13 track CD, lining up alongside the likes of Zilla and Buddy Peace you get The Contortionist, Mr Cooper and Tempa. Well worth checking out if you like this sort of thing folks and a label to keep your eye on over the next couple of years.
