Silvery - Horrors / Orders

Not enough bands release singles that are under two minutes in length do they? Is it just me or is there something really pleasing and ballsy about doing that, particularly when it’s your debut 45 you are putting out.

Well that’s exactly what Silvery have done for this release. with Horrors weighing in at a beautiful one 1:47. Even the other half of the double-a doesn’t hang about with Orders being epic almost at 2:20.

As you would expect from a Blow Up indie band the sound is certainly celebrating English music, you get some grooving 60’s organ and a heavy dose of Libertines stle punk. Definitely a band to watch out for, especially when they drop their album in a few months time.
