David Gray - Hospital Food
Think it’s probably the wobbly head, but i’ve always found David Gray intensly irritating, sure he’s a nice guy and all that but I just can’t listen to him sing.
Now it’s not that he’s got the worse voice in the world either, the fact that he’s on his seventh album and has sold millions of records must mean he’s got something going for him. I guess I don’t know what it is, I can’t put my finger on it….so all in all it’s an irrational hatred.
When I heard Hospital Food on the radio the other day it’s probably the first time i’ve not instantly reached for the dial to turn it over when he’s been on the radio. That said though it’s still a fairly dull track which I imagine will be top of the Radio 2 chart for weeks.
The single is out now, taken from the Life In Slow Motion album.
