Bombay Bicycle Club - How We Are / The Boy I Used To Be EPs

A couple of weeks ago I was listening to my digital radio that has beebn getting a lot of hammer since I received it as a gift for my birthday back in January, when this song came on the radio.

The song in question was How Are You which is the lead track of the bands second EP. I was mesmerised listening to it and immediately saw the benefits of the radio as BBC6 are good enough to tell you the track and the artist name while it’s playing.

Bombay Bicycle Club are the band that were responsible for the song and I immediately started to try and track down some records by them. A week or so later thanks to a couple of emails I was the proud owner of both EPs on vinyl. Both How We Are and The Boy I Used To Be are brilliantly appealing with each conttaining four nuggets of slightly off kilter guitar pop.

If you want to do a bit of detective work yourself and get hold of a couple of tracks to try I’d suggest How We Are, The Hill and Ghost. I can’t see this band staying underground for long, get on them now while you can as these teenagers have talent to burn.
