First Of The Giants - Hypochondriac
Hypochondriac is the second single from First Of The Giants, they’ve actually been around since 2004 and are a four piece based in Bristol.
Great guitar into, the promo material makes mention of The Foo Fighters and for once, it’s not an exaggeration, they do have a similar sound. Music is great, personally would have liked the vocals to have been just a bit louder or perhaps a little gutsier. However, suspect that away from the studio they will be a lot less restrained.
B-side My Voodoo Doll musically a big sound, very emotionally charged vocals which just don’t seem right together, however I loved the guitars. For me a bit bland and boring but still get the feeling that this is a band destined for bigger and better things, will sound amazing live and in a good sized venue.
