Marvin The Martian - I Hate My Job
I loved the Hoods & Badges EP that Marvin The Martian released earlier this year, it was the first real quality ‘Grindie’ stuff i’d heard and was both clever and catchy without ever selling out for a chart hit.
The follow up to that release is I Hate My Job, something that probably everyone apart from Musicians and Footballers say at least once a week to their friends and colleagues. It’s because of this that you can’t help but laugh and smirk as he reels off witty one liners describing dressing downs from the boss and other problems with working dead end jobs.
Music Man on the b-side is similar to the first track in that it takes more of a hip-hop approach this time out than the majority of tracks on the previous EP, another string to the bow of everyone’s favourite little green man.
The single is out now through Genepool.
