The Beat Surrender

I took one look at the artwork on the front of this CD single and thought i’d hate the music on offer here, it all looked too cheesy for my taste (being the super stylish guy that I am obviously), but you know what they say about books and covers don’t you, well it’s the same with records sometimes as well.

Niyi is a flamboyant stytle and music industry insider who has built up a superb reputation in London with the various nights he’s put on, now though it seems his music is finally starting to get noticed as well. The real class track here is I Love You All, taking elements of electro and hip-hop he throws out a storming track.

Poached Eggs isn’t half as good but seems to be the track getting more attention, for me it comes across as something of a novelty song in comparison to the classy I Love You All.
