Hard-Fi - I Shall Overcome
Right from the word go I was behind Hard-Fi and their brilliant debut album that kick started everything off for them, i’m not sure what it was but I really was a little unsure of how they would come back with album number two.
The answer came in Once Upon A Time In The West and it was patchy for me, the first two singles were decent enough and a couple of the album tracks are ok as well, unfortunately though I Shall Overcome sounds like it’s borrowed from Robbie Williams No Regrets song.
Now i’ve nothing against that particular Robbie Williams song (unlike everything else he’s ever done) but I’d expect more from a band like Hard-Fi…and this just doesn’t deliver it.
