Scouting For Girls - I Wish I Was James Bond
Scouting For Girls are really scraping the barrel now in picking this as another single to release from their debut album. I said at the time of the album release I thought it was gimmicky and it sounds even worse hearing it today.
No coincidence then that it’s been timed to come out while James Bond is everywhere at the moment (the film isn’t bad but it’s not as as good as Casino Royale for the record). A bit like eating a full box of popcorn to yourself at the cinema, Scouting For Girls initially seemed a good idea and in small doses were, this though is wearing very thin now.
I Wish I Was James Bond is out now.
