The Duloks - (I’m Gonna Follow) Your Star Trail
The band are on the slightly eccentric Art Goes Pop label, they dress up in different themed outfits on stage (anything from The Rolling Stones, to cowboys and indians to Mariners!)...things were never going to be normal with The Duloks.
And so it is, the limited edition 7” single (I’m Gonna Follow) Your Star Trail is a quirky affair that at times threatens to grab you by the pop music loving neck and strangle you with it’s bare catchiness, at other times it just sounds twee like three girls are playing at forming a band.
This though is the best track by a country mile as things go heavily downhilll after that on the single, Boom Boom (Mormon Lovin Momma) is plain awful and I think if I remember the fourth track it is something to do with Vegetarians eating fish heads which as a track i’m pretty sure even I could do in five minutes.
