The Beat Surrender

Hip hops hard and fast newcomer Flo Rida is certainly not wasting any time and releases his third single through Atlantic Records, In The Ayer. Released September 8th and Produced by Wil.I.Am this is another sample taken from his debut album Mail on Sunday.

Flo Rida’s last two singles Low and Elevator have hit the charts with huge a bang, continuing to fill up the club floors at the drop of the first beat. I’m betting this one will follow their success. In the Ayer is as expected, a mixture of funked up hip hop beats and very clever backing sound effects. In my opinion this single is not as superior as his last too. Its falls a little weaker on the lyrics and the repetitive beats would not be as easy to dance to. With all three singles it is hard to find much variation between them.

Though all very impressive tracks I’d hate to hear people say he is a one trick pony. I’d like to hear him do something a little out of his comfort zone, so this single comes as a little disappointment to me. Here is hoping the next single surprises us with something different.
