Nitzer Ebb - Industrial Complex (Tour Edition)

After parting company with Mute Records in 2006 Nitzer Ebb return with their first album in fifteeen years and their sixth in total, it comes with a huge amount of expectation from fans, but despite taking on board advice from Flood and Jagz Kooner it doesn’t quite hit the spot for me.

I’m not sure what the need for a Tour Edition is as that generally seems to be a weay to shaft more money out of their more hardcore fans, but either way Industrial Complex suffers by lacking the imagination or cutting edgte that you’d hope for.

Tracks like Once You Say, Never Known and Going Away have been done a thousand times over by other artists and in many ways better, Nitzer Ebb may have been pioneers all those years ago but nowadays it looks like a band clinging to their reputation rather than enhancing it and thats a real shame.
