The Laurel Collective - International Love Affair
The Laurel Collective really are an International band with members hailing from the far flung quarters of Wales, Nigeria, Italy and England, the stripped back nature of the group (they’ve carelessly lost 13 members along the way to be down to a mere 6) hasn’t impacted on their sound at all.
The recent mini-album Feel Good Hits Of A Nuclear Winter oozed pop charm and big choruses in and amongst their more edgy indie tracks. Their biggest dance floor filler at the indie disco is now released as a single from that record, International Love Affair is your old fashioned single, big, brash, catchy as hell and wrapped up in enough hooks to catch a school of chorus fish.
